PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE UNABLE TO CARRY OUT DBS CHECKS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
WE APOLOGISE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE THAT THIS MAY CAUSE YOU.
DBS, Disclosure and Barring Service (were Criminal Records Bureau, CRB) checks are carried out to help prevent unsuitable people from working with children and vulnerable adults. DBS checks are required for volunteers and paid staff in any organisation which works with children and vulnerable adults, including voluntary and community organisations. Volunteer Centre Dacorum is able to process DBS application checks for your staff and volunteers by working in partnership with North Herts Centre for Voluntary Service, which is a DBS umbrella body.
There are two types of DBS check – Standard and Enhanced. An Enhanced check is required for anyone working directly with children or vulnerable adults. For more information please visit the Disclosure and Barring website.
